<p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>The Wow</strong></h2> <p>As a Platform DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating critical platform services that power our applications and customer experiences. This includes managing and optimizing our CDN, Cloud Edge functions, DNS, WAF, and IIS-based applications, while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across our environments.</p> <p>You will bring deep technical expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code, and automation tooling, with a focus on enabling reliable, performant, and secure delivery of applications at the edge. Collaboration with developers, security engineers, and infrastructure teams will be essential to align platform capabilities with organizational goals.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Your contributions will directly support our vision to transition workloads from on-premise infrastructure to modern, cloud-native and edge-optimized platforms.</p> <h2>&nbsp;</h2> <h2><strong>Product Development at Betsson Group</strong></h2> <p>Our Product Development organisation is truly Global with cross functional teams spanning 6 Tech Hubs – Malta, Budapest, Stockholm, Tallinn, Malaga and Athens. With nearly 600 strong professionals, the Product Development organisation is spear-headed by our CTO-CPO with all our talented Area Teams working together.</p> <h2>&nbsp;</h2> <h2><strong>A taster of what you will be involved with</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Platform Ownership – Manage and optimize CDN, DNS, WAF, edge functions (NodeJS), and IIS applications, ensuring high reliability, security, and performance.</li> <li>Cloud &amp; Infrastructure as Code – Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, with a focus on scalability, repeatability, and GitOps best practices.</li> <li>Automation &amp; Configuration Management – Build automation workflows using Ansible, and Git to improve deployment velocity and reduce manual effort.</li> <li>Cloud Native Transformation – Support the organization’s shift from on-premise to AWS cloud-native workloads, introducing edge-first strategies where appropriate.</li> <li>Kubernetes Integration – Collaborate with container platform teams to integrate workloads with Kubernetes where needed, ensuring seamless connectivity with edge services.</li> <li>Collaboration &amp; Guidance – Work closely with developers, architects, and security engineers to integrate WAF, CDN, and DNS changes into CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes.</li> <li>Monitoring &amp; Reliability – Define and track metrics, logs, and traces across platform services to proactively detect issues, optimize performance, and improve resilience.</li> <li>
