The product has been running for ~3 years and operates like a startup within DX.</p> <p>The teams are primarily composed of senior-level engineers who take full ownership of their workstreams — from early requirements definition (in close collaboration with Product Managers) to final delivery. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as engineers work autonomously in a highly cross-functional environment.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Own the end-to-end design, development, and operation of mission-critical processing services</strong>, ensuring seamless, secure, and compliant data flow between edge devices and the Pure1 cloud platform.</li> <li><strong>Partner with Product and Architecture teams to translate complex requirements</strong> into scalable, resilient architectural designs that drive significant organizational impact from initial concept through to production deployment.</li> <li><strong>Drive continuous innovation</strong> by experimenting with new technologies, platform ecosystems, and architectural patterns to improve system performance, security, and cost-effectiveness for petabytes of real-time data.</li> <li><strong>Maintain a quality-first mindset</strong> throughout the entire software development lifecycle, emphasizing comprehensive unit testing, thorough code reviews, and robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.</li> <li><strong>Lead the resolution of complex inter-operability issues</strong> between new and existing system components, ensuring the platform remains highly available and universally accessible for customers across the globe.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Demonstrated experience in architecting, implementing, and testing various product components</strong> within large-scale, complex distributed systems.</li> <li><strong>Proficiency in a modern backend programming language (Python)</strong>, with a proven ability to write secure, high-performance, and maintainable co
