Full training will be provided.</p><p>The position is based in the Dresden area (Germany), primarily supporting a key customer site. Occasional travel to other customer sites across Europe may be required.</p><p>The Field Service Engineer supports the team on providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installations, as well as contributes in the resolution of any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems, on problems of limited scope.</p><p>The role operates on a <strong>rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts</strong>.</p><p> </p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform <strong>preventative and corrective maintenance</strong> on high-value semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites.</li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.</li><li>Ensure compliance with <strong>health, safety, and environmental standards.</strong></li><li>Work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.</li><li>Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.</li><li>Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, gases knowledge.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Follows standard practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.</li><li>Instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Profile & Requirements</h3><ul><li>Valid <strong>driving licence </strong>and willingness to travel.</li><li>EU work authorisation required.</li><li>Minimum 1<strong> year + of technical or mechanical experience.</strong></li><li>Good communication skills in <strong>English (professional level required), written and oral.</strong></li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team.</li><li>Customer-focused with excellent time management and organisational skills.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)</h3><ul><li>High School diploma or completed professional training in a technical field (e.g. mechatronics technician. electrical/electronic field); preference for University’s degree in Engineering or related field.</li><li>Experience in <strong>electronics, pneumatics, or vacuum systems.</strong></li><li>Previous experience with <strong>semiconductor capital equipment.</strong></li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office Suite.</strong></li></ul><p> </p><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Comprehensive technical training program.</li><li>Opportunities for career growth within an international environment.</li><li>Exposure to advanced semiconductor technologies.</li><li>A professional and supportive team.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Employment Conditions</h3><ul><li><strong>Working Time:</strong> Full-time</li><li><strong>Salary:</strong> 19€/hour + shift allowance + benefits (according to company policy)</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> On-site (Dresden)</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
