<p>Thanks for your interest in Oklo!  We are searching for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team. </p> <p><strong>Position Description</strong></p> <p>Oklo is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead complex sourcing and purchasing execution efforts across critical reactor modules and high-value hardware assemblies. This role owns competitive sourcing strategy execution for technically intensive components and serves as a key commercial interface with strategic suppliers.</p> <p>This position reports to the Senior Procurement Manager and partners closely with engineering, legal and program leadership to ensure cost, quality, capacity, and schedule objectives are achieved.</p> <p>This position may be based in Santa Clara, CA or remote within the United States.</p> <p><strong>Specific responsibilities may include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end execution of sourcing activities for complex assemblies and critical components</li> <li>Develop and manage RFP packages, conduct detailed bid analysis, and drive supplier selection decisions</li> <li>Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers</li> <li>Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with program milestones</li> <li>Support should-cost analysis and cost-reduction initiatives</li> <li>Identify supply risks and proactively drive mitigation plans</li> <li>Partner with Global Supply Managers and engineering teams to execute category strategies</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and responsiveness</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field</li> <li>5+ years of sourcing or supply chain experience in a hardware manufacturing environment</li> <li>Experience leading sourcing for complex, highly engineered components</li> <li>Strong commercial negotiation skills and analytical capability</li> <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications</li> <li>Experience operating in cross-functional product development environments</li> <li>U.S. citizenship required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, automotive, or similarly regulated and high-reliability industries</li> <li>Working knowledge of nuclear ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) requirements and associated Code Stamps (e.g., N, NPT, NA) and their impact on supplier qualification and fabrication</li> <li>Experience supporting NPI (New Produ
