<p>The AFS Interest Rates Division has roots dating back 175 years and continues to expand in both its core established and new markets. In total AFS Group counts close to 200 employees, with ambitious growth plans centered on how to best serve our customers in this dynamic, ever-changing, and fast-paced markets. The AFS Interest Rates Division consists of a group of 40+ ambitious and motivated professionals across Money &amp; Capital Markets and Fixed Income providing best in class solutions to serve a variety of public sector, corporate, banking, and institutional clients.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p>At AFS Group, our values drive how we work and grow together. We are committed to being knowledgeable in our field, collaborative in our approach, entrepreneurial in our mindset, accurate in our execution, and ethical in all our dealings.</p><p>We are looking for talented or aspiring brokers to develop new and further develop existing relationships with (European) corporates, governments, and various public and financial institutions, with the support of AFS’ core product offering and the network and expertise of our various colleagues. The Public Debt desk intermediates deposits, CPs, CDs, and other short-term interest rate products, as well as loans, MTNs and Private Placements in the capital market on behalf of our core clients. </p><p>Overall, the Interest Rates Division is active in the following products:</p><ul><li><p>Interbank and Non-banking Deposits</p></li><li><p>Certificates of Deposits (CD) &amp; Commercial Paper (CP)</p></li><li><p>Repurchase Agreements</p></li><li><p>Arbitrage</p></li><li><p>Foreign Exchange (mainly FX-Swaps)</p></li><li><p>Treasury Bills</p></li><li><p>Medium Term Notes &amp; Structured Bonds</p></li><li><p>Private Placements &amp; (Structured) Loans</p></li></ul><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p>Within the European market alone, there remain numerous opportunities for expansion. We can increase our focus on markets where we already have a presence and explore new markets where we have not yet established activities. We are therefore seeking talents with diverse linguistic abilities and backgrounds who are interested in a commercial role within the financial sector.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><h4>In this role you will be focusing on:</h4><ul><li><p>Managing, maintaining, and expanding the Public Sector desk client portfolio, with a focus on new business and high potential clients and markets</p></li><li><p>Identify clients’ needs and proactively act to achieve best-in-market customer satisfaction and close deals</p></li><li><p>Actively looking for new and cross-selling opportunities within AFS Group departments</p></li><li><p>Conduct market research where you will research and analyze market trends, technological advancements, potential clients, and their industry trends, to help inform business decisions</p></li><li><p>Becoming a sub-sovereign and corporate debt product specialist focusing on short- and long-term funding and direct lending</p></li></ul>
