In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of our business infrastructure. With your in-depth knowledge of Linux administration, networking and automation tools, you will ensure the seamless operation of our infrastructure:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain all aspects of our business infrastructure at AnyDesk, including hardware, virtual systems, network and operating system issues</li> <li>Set up servers, websites and implement security precautions</li> <li>Manage domain registration, administration and certificate management</li> <li>Implement service mirroring, fall back scenarios and service status monitoring</li> <li>Participate in the implementation of new products and systems</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues as needed on an ad hoc basis</li> <li>Source and manage vendors to support our infrastructure needs</li> <li>Manage our 200+ server infrastructure </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h4>Basic Qualifications:</h4> <ul> <li>Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal</li> <li>Easy to work with</li> <li>Sense of urgency</li> <li>Proficiency in Linux administration, specifically Debian-based systems</li> <li>Strong interest in scripting, programming, and automation, with experience in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or Python</li> <li>Knowledge of at least one Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and experience with database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, performance tuning, and schema design</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory; any other languages like German are a plus</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h4>Preferred Skills and Experience:</h4> <ul> <li&
