About the role
<h4><strong><span style="color:#000000">The team: </span></strong></h4><p><span style="color:#000000">In this position, you will be part of our diverse product team that works on our main application. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000">The Marketplaces Development team is responsible for our Python backend, which powers our API and serves as the main entry point for our services. You will also be working on our API integration channels like Amazon, Bol, and eBay, through which we process hundreds of millions of products and orders every day for our customers. The team is responsible for its own roadmap.<br><br>The Marketplaces team is split into four specialized sub-teams, each led by its own Team Lead and consisting of a highly skilled and diverse group of Backend and Full-stack Engineers who work hand-in-hand with Frontend, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver value to our customers. <br>At their core, the team values ownership, growth, and collaboration. They foster a supportive environment where everyone actively helps one another learn and succeed.</span></p><p style="text-align:start;min-height: 1.7em;"></p><h4 style="text-align:start;"><strong><span style="color:#000000">Your challenges:</span></strong></h4><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Contribute to our Python components and support new marketplace API’s</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Design, develop, and test new product features</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Collaborate with and review PRs of other team members</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Improve the reliability and robustness of our application</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Work on scalability and performance improvements</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Work together with Product Managers on requirements and issues</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Own feature or project implementation from initial design to production delivery</span></p><p><span style="color:#000000">We use the following technologies and tools:</span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Languages: Python(3.14), SQL</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Libraries: Pydantic, typing, asyncio, aiohttp, requests, logging, Flask, fastapi, pytest</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Tools: Postgres, GCS, mypy, Sentry, Grafana, Loki, Redis, Alembic, Prometheus</span></p></li></ul></li></ul><p style="text-align:start;"><br><span style="color:#000000">Want to read more about our development adventures?
