About the role
<p>The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for scaling our operations to make Blacklane the partner of choice for our preferred supply partners (professional chauffeurs) in the European market with a focus on Spain, Portugal, Greece and Malta. This is a relationship-driven leadership role focused on balancing supply and demand dynamics, strengthening partner engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while managing cost efficiency and profitability.</p> <p>The role reports to the Head of Operations for our Europe Cluster.</p> <h3 class="col-md-6 pull-left">YOUR CHALLENGE:</h3> <div class="col-md-6 pull-left"> <div class="border"><strong>Market Operations &amp; Strategy</strong> <ul> <ul> <li>Design and implement strategies for supply partnerships of ground transportation services for your designated area to ensure guests are served with the best possible quality at an optimized cost level.</li> <li>Manage, negotiate, and continuously improve supply costs, quality metrics, and supply availability within your region, translating KPIs into clear operational actions.</li> <li>Own and actively manage supply pricing and margin performance, balancing supply and demand dynamics to meet profitability and fulfillment targets.</li> <li>Make informed operational decisions in response to market fluctuations, including pricing adjustments and capacity allocation.</li> <li>Maintain strong partner engagement and loyalty, particularly in supply-constrained or low-volume market conditions.</li> <li>Represent chauffeur insights and operational realities internally, ensuring their voice informs strategy and product improvements.</li> <li>Contribute to shaping the global supply strategy.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Process Improvement</strong></li> <ul> <li>Drive process improvements by collaborating with internal stakeholders across the organization to address operational opportunities and challenges.</li> <li>Use data analysis and market insights to identify risks, improve forecasting accuracy, and support decision-making.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Product to align commercial, regulatory, and operational priorities.</li> </ul> </ul> <strong>Partner &amp; Market Engagement</strong> <ul> <ul> <li>Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with supply and corporate partners.</li> <li>Present supply capabilities to key external stakeholders and represent the organization in partner discussions.</li> <li>Operate as a largely field-based leader with regular travel to strengthen partnerships and monitor market conditions.</li> </ul> </ul> &
