Ready to Press Play on Potential?</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Let's start with the role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Data Analyst </strong>to join our newly formed <strong>Data Self Service (DSS) </strong>department. This function is the first line of support between business stakeholders and the BI department, designed to streamline requests, promote self-service, and accelerate delivery of insights.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div><strong>As a Data Analyst you will:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Act as the first point of contact for internal data requests from business units, identifying scope and complexity;&nbsp;</li> <li>Categorize requests into ad-hoc (small) and project-level (medium/large), solving the former independently and escalating the latter to the appropriate Core BI teams;</li> <li>Build and maintain scalable and modular Databricks notebooks (including parameterized templates) to support self-service use cases;&nbsp;</li> <li>Actively contribute to the creation and evolution of Genie Workspaces, promoting a culture of data self-service and empowerment;&nbsp;</li> <li>Support stakeholders with training, guidance, and thoughtful support to increase autonomy over time;&nbsp;</li> <li>Advocate for automation, identifying repetitive tasks and building systems to reduce manual interventions;&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with Core BI and other analytics teams to align on best practices, tooling, and handover protocols.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll bring&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics, data science, or related);</li> <li>Strong SQL and Python proficiency and ability to develop efficient and well-structured queries;</li> <li>Experience working with Databricks or familiarity with notebook-style development environments;&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to
