About the role

<p><strong>What you will be doing: </strong></p> <p>We are looking for a driven, talented Junior Software Engineer to help us build our SaaS-based anti-money laundering solutions, which empower organizations to fight Financial Crime! We are building cutting-edge solutions that help create a safer world and stop money from ending up in the hands of criminals.</p> <p>This role sits within the team responsible for the Frontend Platform: the core features, delivery mechanisms, UI components and engineering tools that are used by teams across Comply Advantage to deliver customer-facing solutions.</p> <p>As a Junior Frontend Software Engineer, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Help build and maintain UI components that allow compliance officers to manage customer information.</li> <li>Work alongside Backend Engineers to ensure features are integrated reliably.</li> <li>Collaborate across the frontend engineering community to further enhance the build, test and deployment processes. </li> <li>Participate in design discussions and code reviews to learn how to build performant and maintainable applications.</li> <li>Join agile ceremonies (stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives) and contribute your perspective to team decisions.</li> <li>Use AI-assisted development tools (like Claude Code or Gemini Code Assist) under guidance to improve your productivity and code quality.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p>As a Junior Frontend Software Engineer, you should have:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience or projects using TypeScript and React.</li> <li>Understanding of frontend testing, with a desire to grow skills in frameworks like Vitest or Cypress.</li> <li>A strong willingness to learn, share knowledge as you grow, and adapt to diverse project needs.</li> <li>Good problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail when debugging or styling interfaces.</li> <li>Ability to engage in team discussions and bring fresh insights to the table.</li> </ul> <p>Nice to haves</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to React Query for data fetching.</li> <li>Familiarity with modern build tools like Vite or basic CI/CD concepts in GitLab.</li> <li>Basic experience navigating Figma files to translate designs into code.</li> <li>Interest in observability tools like Grafana or Sentry to monitor application health.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Equity as we want you to have a part of what we are building </li> <li>Unlimited Time Off Policy- A work-life balance and focus on our well-being are critical to keeping us performing at our best </li> <li&
