IAM Specialist / IAM Consultant

Job Description Our client is looking for an experienced IAM Specialist to support the Infrastructure domain within the IT & Digitalization function. The consultant will play a key role in maintaining a secure, stable, and efficient IT environment by managing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and administering Identity and Access Management solutions, primarily focused on Microsoft Entra ID. The assignment requires a highly independent professional with extensive experience in large-scale IAM environments and hybrid identity infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID environments, including users, groups, roles, and associated entities. Manage identity governance activities through role-based access control (RBAC) processes. Configure and support Conditional Access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Handle identity and access management operations across hybrid environments involving Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory. Participate in incident handling, troubleshooting, support activities, and IAM-related enhancements. Ensure IAM implementations align with architectural guidelines and product owner security policies. Contribute to improving operational stability, security, and automation within the IAM infrastructure. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver secure identity management solutions. Required Experience Extensive hands-on experience in Entra ID administration and IAM automation. Strong background working with hybrid identity environments using Entra ID Connect and on-premises Active Directory. Proven expertise managing enterprise-scale IAM operations. Experience working independently on complex infrastructure and identity management projects. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience integrating IAM solutions with Microsoft Sentinel, F5, ADFS, or Microsoft Defender. Background working within large organizations managing a high volume of users, permissions, and roles. Relevant Microsoft certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate Required Skills IAM Automation Entra ID Administration Hybrid Identity Management Active Directory Administration RBAC Management Conditional Access & MFA PIM Configuration Identity Security & Governance Education Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Competency Level The client is seeking a senior-level consultant with: Strong specialist or advanced generalist knowledge within IAM and identity security. Experience delivering complex assignments with high quality standards. Capability to take ownership of technical leadership responsibilities when required. Excellent ability to work independently and manage critical IAM operations.
