Head of AI

There is an ongoing paradigm shift with regards to how AI is changing how software gets built, used, and run. Simultaneously, within Aiven, we are changing the way we operate in this new era.</p> <h3><strong>The Role</strong> </h3> <p>We are looking for a Head of AI to lead this critical evolution. Your primary objective is to accelerate our AI transformation strategy which you will lead with a “show, don't tell"-attitude, creating a culture that fundamentally rethinks how work is accomplished. </p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <p><strong>Vision, Strategy and Ownership of Results</strong></p> <ul> <li>Set the vision and strategy for Aiven’s AI transformation and be a role model for the change</li> <li>Lead the internal AI transformation to ensure the shift in how we operate happens faster</li> <li>Establish an AI enablement practice to support different functions through the change</li> <li>Set the frameworks to quantify investments and measure progress holistically throughout the organization</li> </ul> <p><strong>Partner to Win</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with all functions to define and implement AI utilisation and efficiencies across our core business standards</li> <li>Partner with product to ensure our product strategy reflects the new paradigm </li> <li>Partner with security to ensure all of the above is done in swift manner while maintaining our rigorous infosec standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>AI Infrastructure & Tooling</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the outcomes around AI tooling and infrastructure </li> <li>Assess current tolls and resources, evaluate utilisation rates and make recommendations on which tools should be in use to drive impact</li> <li>Lead company wide context management practices and ensure we are set for success</li> <li>Evaluate our core operational systems to determine their interoperability with agents and plan the future of these together with our teams</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h3> <p>You are a hands-on AI enthusiast, actively exploring and understanding the practical implications of emerging AI models, tools and frameworks.
