QA Engineer

The company's infrastructure is designed to meet the growing needs of global financial companies.<br /><br />Founded in 2016, the business has seen double-digit growth year on year, with over 130 fintech professionals now based across the UK and mainland Europe.<br /><br />Working in the IT team as a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our financial products, services and systems by developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. The work will include both automation and manual testing. The main IT office of the company is located in Poland, Gdansk. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of areas in the increasingly important world of fintech payments and have a real impact on the growth of the firm.<br /><br />We #StandWithUkraine. If you are a successful candidate and living outside Poland, you will be required to relocate to Poland, once you have successfully passed your probation, if practically feasible. We will aim to assist with your relocation to Poland, taking into account the practicalities of the current situation. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our financial products, services and systems;</li> <li>Manage the QA process, ensuring that security requirements are met;</li> <li>Develop and present ideas for software and service improvement;</li> <li>API testing (Postman);</li> <li>API testing automation (JS framework);</li> <li>Functional testing of business logic (from simple to complex multi-level logic);</li> <li>Assist in the development of automated testing scripts and tools;</li> <li>Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of our testing processes and tools;</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to software quality assurance and testing;</li> <li>Participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to software testing processes and procedures</li> </ul>
