Particular focus will be with Axon’s existing defense article programs with its Dedrone product line and future Federal R&D involving defense articles. Your role will help to implement an overarching program for Axon with longer term maintenance and oversight.<br><strong><br>What You’ll Do </strong><br><strong>Location: </strong>DC, Boston, or Scottsdale office<br><strong>Reports to: Director, Global Trade & Product Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing Axon’s ITAR compliance program including;</li> <ul> <li>Product classification</li> <li>ITAR license management and administration</li> <li>Helping guide and enforce Axon ITAR compliance policy and procedure</li> </ul> <li>Collaborating with relevant Axon stakeholders to advise on relevant regulatory requirements</li> <ul> <li>R&D and Engineering on new product development</li> <li>Marketing and Sales on ITAR licensing coordination and strategy impact</li> <li>Legal and Executive leadership on risk, risk mitigation, and auditing</li> <li>InfoSec on data controls and ITAR compliant adherence</li> </ul> <li>Investigation and reporting of suspected of ITAR violations</li> <li>Escalation into Axon Compliance leadership with regular communications to stakeholders on ITAR activities</li> <li>Gap assessments, audits, and corrective future actions to redress and appropriately resource</li> <li>Recordkeeping – maintenance of Axon’s ITAR documentation, classifications, and licensing and repositories</li> <li>Regular and standard engagement with Governmental bodies (BIS, DDTC, etc.)</li> <li>Recurrent training and guidance for Axon internal stakeholders on ITAR and export trade regulations.</li> <li>Continuing industry and regulatory monitoring for relevant updates and impactful changes to
