Its AI-powered platform helps enterprises improve data privacy, security, and governance across complex on-premises and cloud environments.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Together, 1touch.io and Everpure transform enterprise data from passive storage into an intelligent, context-aware, and governed foundation - making it AI-ready at the source so organizations can securely understand, trust, and activate their data at scale.</p> <p>As a Mainframe Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and modernize core data discovery and scanning capabilities across enterprise systems. You will focus on a Java-based mainframe agent running on IBM z/OS, enabling scalable access to critical mainframe data sources while supporting the modernization of legacy implementations. Working within a broader Java engineering team, you will contribute to cross-platform solutions, share mainframe expertise, and help evolve modern platform capabilities and architecture.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain a Java-based agent running on IBM z/OS systems.</li> <li>Build capabilities to scan and interact with mainframe technologies, including VSAM, QSAM, IMS, DB2, flat files, and system-level resources.</li> <li>Design, implement, and support scalable software solutions from development through production operations.</li> <li>Build and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Spring and Spring Boot.</li> <li>Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability for large-scale data scanning and processing workloads.</li> <li>Contribute across the broader Java platform and support engineering initiatives beyond the mainframe domain when needed.</li> <li>Share mainframe expertise and support other engineers in developing knowledge and capabilities within the domain.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and deliver customer-focused outcomes.</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be e
