For all new hires, we run background checks, drug tests, and MVR’s before extending an offer.</p><p></p><p><strong>Pay</strong>: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year</p><p></p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):</p><ul><li>Maintain all required safety records and files</li><li>Be able and willing to travel</li><li>Report any unsafe conditions to the safety director</li><li>Assist field and staff management to understand OSHA regulations and standards, including guidance on handling OSHA compliance, inspections, and citations.</li><li>Guide and promote safe work performance by assisting in developing safety systems, policies, and procedures; developing safety campaigns, communications, and recognitions.</li><li>Training managers and employees in environmental, health, and safety topics</li><li>Investigate all injuries in conjunction with field management. Notify top management of pertinent details</li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending appropriate training, educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.</li><li>Conduct job site safety inspections, make recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Evaluate hazardous conditions and practices, and assist in developing hazard control practices and programs.</li><li>Assist in communicating hazard control information and evaluate the effectiveness of the control.</li><li>Guides and assists field, office and warehouse personnel with critical safety and health problems.</li><li>Overviews company accident statistics and makes recommendations for correction of problem areas.</li><li>Works with trade and professional organizations to promote goals and objectives in the health and safety area that affect the company’s business.</li><li>Assess new developments in the health and safety field that may have application to the company’s operations.</li><li>Establish target areas and long-range accident prevention and cost-control objectives.</li><li>Keep apprised of federal and state safety laws likely to affect the company</li><li>Acts as company representative in dealing with government agencies on safety and health matters affecting the company.</li><li>May be required to assist with cost control efforts, participate in safety committees, and the like.</li><li>Prepare and coordinate monthly safety meetings.</li><li>Attend weekly job meetings to keep apprised of new job sites and address issues with current sites.</li><li>Assist in coordinating weekly tool box talks</li><li>Prepare Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) documents as required.</li><li>Assisting in overall activity and success of environmental, health, and safety programs</li><li>Any additional safety duties assigned by Safety Director</li></ul><p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: As directed by Management</p>
