Serving as a vital link between marketing and sales, you'll lead outreach efforts to expand into new markets and qualify warm leads to strengthen our sales pipeline. Your focus will be on research, targeted prospecting, and generating high-quality opportunities that highlight our unique value proposition. </p> <p>This strategic role gives you the autonomy to be creative/proactive with your outbound and inbound strategies. So you won’t be given a script to repeat. Instead, you’ll be given goals and work with your manager to build the messaging/workflows/strategies needed to achieve them together.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Develop new business opportunities from net-new greenfield accounts that align with runZero’s ICP</li> <li>Find and qualify leads through outbound prospecting methods using our sales automation tools</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders (account executives, marketing, sales operations, fellow BDRs)</li> <li>Oversee and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, while strategically partnering with account executives to create and utilize playbooks to win prioritized accounts</li> <li>Create account plans by conducting research and synthesizing information and other materials that reflect a grasp of runZero’s customers’ needs and how runZero delivers value</li> <li>Write emails and letters you'd love to open; ask compelling questions</li> <li>Help drive target contacts to attend ma
