Senior Electrical Engineer - Fuel Recycling

<p>Thanks for your interest in Oklo!  We are searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. </p> <p><strong>Position Description</strong></p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="148" data-local-id="65ae6d82-766f-471f-940b-ec0d6c9f0155">In this role, you will own the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems supporting a nuclear fuel recycling facility. These systems include facility power distribution, electrical infrastructure, equipment power systems, and interfaces with process and control systems.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="449" data-local-id="1f8d11bf0428">This is a first-of-a-kind (FOAK) facility, and this role requires ownership across the full lifecycle from early concept development through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operations.</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="653" data-local-id="e6b407d2f64b">This role includes close collaboration with cross-functional teams focused on facility design, process engineering, controls engineering, equipment design, and licensing.</p> <p><strong>Specific responsibilities may include:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="869" data-local-id="b35db668ea89">Lead the design and implementation of facility electrical systems from concept through commissioning</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="973" data-local-id="566767332fc7">Design and specify high-, medium-, and low-voltage power distribution systems</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1054" data-local-id="0935a602652e">Define system architecture, including redundancy, backup power, and safety strategies</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1143" data-local-id="6a9e73f99df1">Perform and review power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, coordination)</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1227" data-local-id="19c5914dea99">Generate and review electrical documentation (single-line diagrams, load lists, specifications, cable schedules)</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1343" data-local-id="f451ca74f05d">Lead integration with control systems (PLC/DCS/HMI)</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1398" data-local-id="318ff91c7a47">Develop grounding, bonding, and lightning protection strategies</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1465" data-local-id="3b38dac708a6">Support procurement, installation, and commissioning activities</p> </li> <li> <p data-renderer-start-pos="1532" data-local-id="e3c8c58fb
