CNC Operator (Recentering) - Grinding - 3rd Shift

<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: </strong></p> <p>Grinds rotary tooling to specification per work instructions. Sets blade clearance per specifications per work instructions on both manual and CNC equipment.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Set up indication and grinding of rotary tooling</li> <li>Double checks clearance on roll tag Compares order form to work instructions to ensure clearance and proper roll is selected.</li> <li>Informs department lead of all problems, crashes, or issues with the machine.</li> <li>Sweep and clean area around machine. Prioritize work according to leads instructions.</li> <li>Grind flats in roll when needed.</li> <li>Maintains grinding wheel.</li> <li>Maintain tooling supply.</li> <li>Wear proper PPE while in work areas of the shop.</li> <li>Able to measure bearer diameter with micrometer to determine taper as well as clearance.</li> <li>Other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;"><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;"> </p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;"><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Ability to prioritize effectively.</li> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Ability to assimilate and retain quickly a variety of information concerning company organization, policy and products.</li> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Proficient skill level simple mathematics</li> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Know how to use micrometers and calipers. </li> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</li> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Ability to work with supervision to realize company goals.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;"><strong>Education/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;"> High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Previous machining experience and or trade school grad</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li style=&quot
