You will own and drive the internal ticketing platform - Arcesium’s internal ticketing and workflow engine powering request management, incident handling, and automation across the organization.</p> <p>This is primarily a hands-on engineering role with a technical leadership component. You will spend most of your time writing code, designing systems, and solving engineering problems, while also mentoring a small team and driving platform direction. The ideal candidate is a strong Java backend engineer comfortable working across the full stack, with a platform-ownership mindset - from code to production.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ol> <li><strong>Platform Ownership: </strong>Own the Ticketing platform end-to-end — architecture, development, deployment, and production operations.</li> <li><strong>Backend & Full-Stack Development: </strong>Build and maintain production-grade Java services, work with SQL Server for query optimization and schema migrations, and contribute to frontend changes when needed.</li> <li><strong>DevOps & Cloud: </strong>Own CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven/Gradle, GitLab CI) and manage containerized deployments on AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).</li> <li><strong>Observability & Incident Response: </strong>Build monitoring dashboards and alerting. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.</li> <li><strong>Security: </strong>Ensure platform security — authentication, authorization, secrets management, cross-client isolation, and annual security u
