About the role

Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Specialist within Identity & Access Management (IAM) with strong expertise in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM). The assignment focuses on supporting the transition from Microsoft Identity Manager to Omada Identity Suite while ensuring operational continuity, platform stability, and secure identity management processes across the organization. The consultant will work closely with the client’s IAM team and contribute to platform administration, lifecycle management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives related to identity and access infrastructure. This role requires a technically skilled and self-driven professional who can independently manage complex IAM-related tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support the phased decommissioning of Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and migration activities toward Omada Identity Suite Maintain and operate the existing MIM environment until the transition is fully completed Administer and manage identity-related services within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Monitor platform performance, system availability, and security across IAM-related infrastructure Analyze logs, investigate incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate resolution activities with internal teams Contribute to the development and establishment of modern Identity Fabric Platform capabilities Assist in building scalable platform services to support developers and service managers within the organization Participate in lifecycle management and operational governance of deployed IAM platforms Work with DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code principles within identity and access environments Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to improve platform efficiency, stability, and security Required Experience Strong expertise in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) administration and operations Hands-on experience deploying and managing MIM within large enterprise environments Proven knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Experience in system monitoring, platform maintenance, and lifecycle management Ability to work independently and resolve advanced technical issues Familiarity with DevOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code concepts Strong communication and collaboration skills in technical and business environments Preferred Qualifications Experience configuring and maintaining federations between systems and services Knowledge of national identity federations and electronic identification frameworks Familiarity with Swedish and European e-identification solutions Experience working within Agile environments, particularly Scrum methodologies Required Skills Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID IAM Platform Administration System Monitoring Lifecycle Management Security Assessment Incident Troubleshooting Identity & Access Management DevOps & Infrastructure as Code
