Instrumentation and Control Supervisor

<p>Location: Europe (Germany)</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong> We are looking for a specialist I&amp;C Construction Supervisor to join our team. This is a high-authority, technical leadership role responsible for the installation, integration, and handover of complex Instrumentation and Control systems.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong> Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of the I&amp;C erection strategy. Your primary goal is to ensure that all digital and analog control systems are installed to exact specifications and seamlessly transitioned to the commissioning phase.</p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Technical Execution:</strong> Lead the execution of the I&amp;C installation strategy. This includes creating detailed sub-schedules to ensure all instrumentation works align with the flagship project's master schedule.</li><li><strong>Subcontractor Management:</strong> Oversee specialized I&amp;C subcontractors, ensuring the highest workmanship standards and strict adherence to the Site Quality Assurance Programme.</li><li><strong>Commercial &amp; Variance Control:</strong> Investigate deviations, non-conformances (NCRs), and extra works. You will coordinate with site management to minimize cost impacts and resolve claims fairly and promptly.</li><li><strong>Project Monitoring:</strong> Provide critical data and input to the Construction Monitoring System (CMS) and maintain a comprehensive site logbook to track all relevant project events.</li><li><strong>Interface Coordination:</strong> Liaise with Engineering to clarify technical documentation and coordinate with other discipline managers to manage cross-functional interfaces.</li><li><strong>Safety &amp; Quality:</strong> Enforce the site-specific EHS plan and "Quality First" culture. You have the full authority to suspend non-compliant or unsafe work and deliver essential toolbox talks and risk assessments.</li><li><strong>Punch List Management:</strong> Take proactive action to ensure all I&amp;C punch list items are cleared to support the commissioning team's requirements. In conjunction with the QA/QC/Turnover Manager, reviews and approves test packs; provides information to the database controller so that status reports are up-to-date and accurate. Participates in system walkdowns, punch-list management, construction close-out and turnover of systems to client and/or the C&amp;Q team.</li><li><strong>Turnover &amp; Commissioning:</strong> Be integral to the creation and maintenance of Turnover Packages. You will ensure that all I&amp;C systems are fully documented, tested, and ready for commissioning handover on time.</li></ul><p> </p>
