Our platform delivers early, high-quality exploit intelligence, deep asset correlation, and contextual insights to help organizations stay ahead of emerging threats.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p> <p>We're looking for a Principal Frontend Engineer to own and evolve the systems that power VulnCheck's user-facing products. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive the direction of the product UI and collaborate closely with your teammates to shape how customers experience VulnCheck's intelligence. <strong><em>Although this is a 100% remote role, candidates must be located in Massachusetts, Maryland, or Greater Austin, TX.</em></strong></p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the product UI end-to-end: design, architecture, development, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Drive frontend direction—establishing patterns, component systems, and design standards</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable code across the stack (frontend-first, with backend context as needed)</li> <li>Partner closely with Product to translate requirements into polished user experiences</li> <li>Improve performance, accessibility, and reliability of customer-facing interfaces</li> <li>Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to frontend architecture decisions</li> <li>Debug and resolve production UI issues with durable, thoughtful solutions</li> <li>Mentor other engineers on frontend best practices and contribute to engineering culture</li> <li>Support Marketing and other teams across the company as relates to web frontend needs</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience building and shipping production web platforms</li> <li>Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (Nuxt/Vue preferred)</li> <li>Full-stack competence—comfortable working across the codebase, backend experience a plus</li> <li>Experience owning a product UI or web property end-to-end</li> <li>Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and browser compatibility</li> <li>Ability to work closely with Product and translate visual direction into high-qual
