DevSecOps Engineer

<p>540 is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the DoW in building a next-generation Air Force aircraft maintenance platform. This platform leverages Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud, and Apigee. DevSecOps Engineers on this team architect and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure within a high compliance environment, with a primary focus on automation and security. This platform will modernize how Air Force maintainers plan and execute maintenance and is a key part of the Air Force’s technology strategy for the coming decade.</p> <p>In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and platform services that enable reliable and compliant system delivery. We break down barriers, build impactful technology, and solve mission-critical problems.</p> <p><strong>HOW YOU’LL DRIVE IMPACT</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud-native applications and services</li> <li>Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources</li> <li>Integrate security controls and best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps)</li> <li>Support deployment and operation of containerized workloads and cloud-native data pipelines</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers and architects to implement scalable, secure, and resilient system designs</li> <li>Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments</li> <li>Support vulnerability management, remediation, and secure configuration practices</li> <li>Implement and maintain cloud security controls, identity management, and access policies</li> <li>Monitor system performance, reliability, and security posture across environments</li> <li>Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and system configurations
