<div><strong>About the Role</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Our client is seeking experienced Journeyman Boom Truck and Mobile Crane Operators experienced in heavy industrial projects to join their Edmonton team.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Role Description</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>You will have the opportunity to operate a mobile boom truck, performing lifts for a variety of projects in the local area. You would be relied on to provide solutions to a wide range of lifts, from straightforward to highly complex, operating booms such as straight booms and articulating knuckle booms up to 80 tons. The team is currently growing, and in this position you would have the opportunity to pursue company-funded schooling, or more senior positions within the company.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Drive mobile booms to job sites, operate equipment according to project requirements and daily tasks</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">•&nbsp;</span>Conduct pre-trip safety and maintenance inspections on equipment</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Attend toolbox and safety meetings as required</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Prepare daily work and mobile boom to adhere to job safety requirements</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Maintain equipment in good operating condition, report and/or log any maintain concerns or mechanical work needed</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Communicate with project teams on site, utilizing radios, hand signals, and eye contract</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">•&nbsp;</span>Assist with general project tasks as needed</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Skills and Requirements</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span><strong>Valid Class 1 driver's license, and active Journeyman Boom Truck or Mobile Crane ticket</strong></div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">•&nbsp;</span>Commitment to safety and maintenance standards</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Ability to manage your own priorities, proactivity, and ability to follow directions</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• P</span>roblem solving skills, ability to adapt quickly to changing situations</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">•&nbsp;</span>Reliability and punctuality</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">• </span>Positive attitute and attention to detail</div> <div><span style="font-size: 14.6667px;">•&nbsp;</span>Ability to work as a team and work collaboratively with other people</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>What's Next</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>We believe in diversity of thought and experience.
