Application Production Support Engineer (APS Engineer)

<p><strong>APS SUPPORT LINUX JAVA API ANSIBLE BANKING AGILE</strong></p><p>On behalf of our client in the banking sector, we are seeking an Application Production Support Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of applications, both from a technical and functional perspective. This includes monitoring and maintaining the smooth execution of processes, validating business-critical data, and ensuring the correct functioning of application workflows.</p><p>In the context of frequent changes and releases, your mission is to contribute to building efficient, secure, and resilient systems that support the continuous delivery of software and enhance the overall user experience.</p><p><strong>Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide technical and functional support to end-users, ensuring smooth operation and quick resolution of issues.</li><li>Monitor and manage application components, coordinating releases and ensuring operational continuity across the assigned perimeter.</li><li>Maintain and enrich documentation, including technical references and functional procedures to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.</li><li>Develop and update operating procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and production standards.</li><li>Analyze and optimize application performance, using metrics and user feedback to enhance reliability and user experience.</li><li><p>Integrate applications technically, leveraging existing tools and services to streamline implementation and reduce delivery time, while managing requests for functional enhancements.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul> <p><strong>Profile:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>2–3 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the banking sector.</li><li>Proficient with production tools such as <strong>CA Automation Scheduler</strong>, <strong>Axway Transfer CFT</strong>, <strong>ServiceNow</strong>, and has a solid understanding of infrastructure and technical environments.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Linux operating systems</strong>, <strong>shell scripting</strong>, and <strong>middleware technologies</strong> including Ansible, MQ Series, NGINX, and API management.</li><li>Skilled in application monitoring and troubleshooting, particularly with tools like Dynatrace, and technologies such as Java/Spring Boot.</li><li>Good business understanding of the application scope and ability to support users effectively.</li><li><p>Fluent in English; knowledge of French and Dutch is a strong asset. Familiarity with IT and cybersecurity concepts is a plus.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul>
