Fabricator/Welder Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team on a contract basis. As an apprentice-trained fabricator welder, you will be responsible for carrying out general engineering tasks, assisting current welders to meet coded standards. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing of large high tension cable connections. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG/TIG Welding to a high standard Utilize MMA, Braising, and gas welding skills Work primarily on Mild Steel, and occasionally on other materials such as Stainless Steel Carry out additional fabrication tasks as required Job Requirements: Apprentice trained fabricator welder Significant experience in MIG/TIG Welding Experience in MMA, Braising, and gas welding is advantageous Ability to work with Mild Steel and other materials Strong fabrication skills Willingness to perform hand grinding and simple machine shop tasks This contract is initially for 6 months but could be extended based on work volumes. The working hours are 39 per week, from 7.15am to 4.15pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7.15am to 12.15pm (Friday).
