Trusted by 550+ global customers—including Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies—Exiger is a recognized, award-winning leader in supply chain AI and a FedRAMP® authorized provider to the federal government.</p></div><h2>Location</h2> <p>McLean, VA, Richmond, VA, or New York City preferred<br>Hybrid: 2 days per week<br>Remote may be considered for exceptionally strong candidates</p> <h2>About the role</h2> <p>As an Engineering Manager for Cloud Platform Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for the infrastructure, deployment platforms, CI/CD standards, Kubernetes environments, Terraform modules, observability practices, and operational foundations that enable Exiger engineering teams to build and run reliable software at scale.<br>This role is ideal for an engineering leader with recent experience managing platform, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering teams. You do not need to be the deepest hands-on expert in every tool, but you should be able to guide technical direction, evaluate tradeoffs, challenge designs, coach engineers, and partner with leadership on platform strategy.<br>The role will work closely with frontend, backend, infrastructure, security, and product teams, but the primary focus is cloud platform engineering, operational excellence, infrastructure standards, and scalable delivery practices.</p> <h2>What you’ll do</h2> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and grow a team of approximately 10 engineers across platform, infrastructure, backend, and related engineering disciplines.</li> <li>Set technical direction for Exiger’s cloud platform, including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes-based application delivery, Terraform/IaC standards, CI/CD, observability, and operational practices.</li> <li>Define short-term and long-term platform priorities and ensure active projects align with engineering and business goals.</li> <li>Partner with application engineering teams to provide reusable platform capabilities, self-service workflows, documentation, and operational standards.</li> <li>Act as an organizational resource to unblock and enable multiple engineering t
