Senior DevOps Engineer – Semantic Framework & Knowledge Graphs

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deploy, migrate, and maintain a central ontology management framework and its integration with diverse research and regulatory systems.</li><li>Execute the migration of all repositories and associated pipelines from GitLab to GitHub.</li><li>Design and implement security concepts to ensure the protection of internal and confidential data structures.</li><li>Automate processes and workflows to optimize component operations and data synchronization with connected systems.</li><li>Collaborate with semantic-web experts and developers within an agile product team to align the platform with business demands.</li><li>Ensure stable platform operations and manage continuous maintenance activities across interconnected components.</li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar infrastructure-focused role.</li><li>You possess strong expertise in cloud platforms with <strong>AWS</strong>.</li><li>You have extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code using <strong>Terraform</strong> and <strong>Ansible</strong>.</li><li>You bring practical experience with CI/CD methodologies using both <strong>GitLab CI/CD</strong> and <strong>GitHub Actions</strong>.</li><li>You have experience implementing scalable containerized solutions using <strong>Docker</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, <strong>Helm</strong>, and <strong>ArgoCD</strong>.</li><li>You possess experience with observability tools such as <strong>Prometheus</strong> and <strong>Grafana</strong>.</li><li>You have programming skills in <strong>Python</strong> and/or <strong>Java</strong>.</li><li>You bring experience with identity and access management solutions like <strong>Keycloak</strong>.</li><li>You are proactive, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills.</li><li>You are fluent in <strong>English</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Haves</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of <strong>Azure</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with semantic web technologies like <strong>RDF</strong>, <strong>OWL</strong>, <strong>SPARQL</strong>, and <strong>Cypher</strong>.</li><li>Experience with graph databases such as <strong>Virtuoso</strong>, <strong>Fuseki</strong>, or <strong>Neo4J</strong>.</li></ul>
