We supply fresh and value-added meat-based products to retail and foodservice through private label and our own brands, including Rustlers, Big Al's and John Stone.</strong></p><p></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Facilities Engineer</strong> to join our Maintenance team in Cork. This is a full time permanent position reporting to the Primary &amp; Facilities Maintenance Manager. This position will be responsible for the smooth running of our state of the art facilities. Anything from Refrigeration, Boiler, Steam and Energy. You will work cross-functionally across different departments and contractors as well as optimise preventative maintenance schedules.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>To ensure supervision and safe operating procedures for visiting contractors, </li><li>Respond promptly to facilities-related breakdowns to minimise production disruption</li><li>Assist with basic projects such as equipment replacements, upgrades, or energy-saving initiatives.</li><li>To ensure all Compliance service and inspection schedules are completed and actions followed up on</li><li>You will Implement and Drive Continuous Improvement projects ( Self Driven )</li><li>You Work Closely with Operations improving the site assets and the refrigeration performance, availability, and efficiency,</li><li>To assist the Engineering Department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts.</li><li>Optimisation of the CMMS (Piranha) system regarding asset identification and traceability,</li><li>Assist in emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way on all Site Facilities equipment and assist across all site engineering issues when required,</li><li>To assist in the installation of new equipment to the site if required.</li></ul>
