Solaris is headquartered in Berlin and employs 300 people in Europe.</p> <p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <p class="p1">We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams in shaping the future of digital banking. You'll collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and fellow engineers to build secure, resilient, and reliable banking solutions. In this role, you'll work with other senior members of Solaris to break down complex requirements and drive the design, implementation, delivery, and operation of complex, high-scale financial services solving critical business and technical challenges.</p> <p class="p1">As a Senior Engineer you will:</p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1">Design and deliver scalable and secure backend systems, from architecture to production.</li> <li class="li1">Drive engineering excellence through a focus on code quality, system reliability, observability, and performance.</li> <li class="li1">Collaborate with product and engineering peers to align technical decisions with business outcomes.</li> <li class="li1">Take end-to-end ownership of systems, embracing the "You build it, you run it" philosophy from design to deployment and operations.</li> <li class="li1">Contribute to and guide architectural decisions and the long-term technical strategy within your team.</li> </ul> <h4>We'd love to see </h4> <p>Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range.
